The Sculpting Powder-Medium
- Why a Sable Beauty
- How to use
The cult Sculpting Powder by Kevyn Aucoin is a staple for subtle and natural looking contouring. The secret lies in the absence of glitter and a combination of brown and grey pigments to create the illusion of a true shade, whilst red pigments prevent it from making warm skin tones look ashy or cooler skin tones go orange. The consistency, between a cream and a powder, guarantees a translucent application that blends beautifully on the skin and with great staying power. We also love to use the Sculpting Powder to define the crease of the eye, it sharpens the expression for a super sexy everyday eye.
Sable Beauty, You are Beauty
Contour Apply with The Contour Brush under the hollows of the cheek, blend thoroughly to avoid it from looking dirty on the skin.
For a subtle depth use sparingly. If you want more intensity, build it up for a more dramatic effect.
Eyes Apply with The Small Eyeshadow Round Brush in the crease of the eye. Blend gently to achieve a soft natural effect.
The Sculpting Powder does not reflect intense enough on sable beauties with deeper brown skin tones (SX13-SX16, NC44+, UF12), instead we recommend accentuating the high planes of the face with a highlighter to recreate a natural sculpted effect or use a darker sculpting product (2 shades darker than your foundation).
